2020 SCHOOL TAX WARRANT

Notice of Receipt of Tax Roll and Warrant
2020 Lake George Central School District

TAKE NOTICE, that having received the Tax Roll and Warrant, August 11, 2020, for the collection of taxes for Lake George Central School District No. 1 (Town of Lake George, Bolton, and Fort Ann), I will collect taxes at the Lake George Town Center, 20 Old Post Road, Lake George, New York, beginning September 1, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mondays, Wednesday and Friday in person.  Taxes may also be paid on line at www.lakegeorgetown.org Receiver of Taxes beginning September 1, 2020.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, the last day without penalty will be September 30, 2020.  A two (2) percent penalty will be charged from October 1, 2020 to October 31, 2020.  A three (3) percent penalty will be charged from November 1, 2020 to November 4, 2020, the last day of collection.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of the Law, the Tax Roll for the Towns of Lake George and Bolton shall be returned to the County Treasurer of Warren County before the 15th of November 2020.  The Tax Roll of Fort Ann shall be returned to the County Treasurer of Washington County before the 15th of November 2020.
