Please see attached various letters notifying residents regarding a proposed public hearing in February regarding proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map, which have been identified to potentially affect the zoning of some properties in the Town. If you received a notice directly in the mail, you are either in an area with a proposed zone change, or you have a Short Term Rental in a district in which the Town Board is considering removing the permissibility for Short Term Rentals (which would grandfather your permit). If you did not receive a notice, your property is not being affected by the Zone Change.

Prior to the Public Hearing on February 13, 2023 at 5pm, to consider adoption of the amendments, there will be a Public Meeting on January 9, 2023 at 5pm, at which the Town Board will consider a final review of the draft amendments, consider a SEQR (State Environmental Quality Review) determination, consider a resolution to send the amendments to the APA for approval, and plan to set the public hearing (for February).
